Greetings friends.

For those of you who were unable to attend my latest Stickam chat (July 23, 2011), I wanted to create a post, explaining the essence of the chat…

I have been working diligently for the past ten months- writing, demoing, and refocusing image and direction. As I was forging ahead in the creative world, I was tying up loose ends with DC- A clean break to allow a fresh start. During these months, I was building something fresh and beautiful. The more “soul searching” I did as an artist, the more my songs started to take on a unique shape and personality. It was during this time that I realized it didn’t make sense for me to continue as “Disco Curtis”. 

DC was a band and I am now an individual. The writing, the new songs, the solo image- it all needed a name that would truly represent me as I am now. Therefore, I am Tanner Patrick.

Thank you for sticking with me continually over the last several months as I made this transition. Your comments and continuing interests in the project have been extremely encouraging and I thank you for that. I am eager to share my new work with you.

Be expecting new music, videos (music videos, studio update videos, acoustic videos), and Tanner Patrick merchandise in the near future. Thank you so much for your support and welcome to the TP family.
